GUARANTEE:All Uncertified Coins, Paper Money, Proof Sets, Mint Sets, and precious metal coins are guaranteed as authentic by the business. We only purchase from reputable dealers and suppliers and take every precaution to ensure the product(s) our customers are receiving is genuine. All Certified Coins are guaranteed authentic by the business but we are not responsible for the grade. Certified Coins are graded by third-party grading services (NGC, PCGS, ANACS, ICG) and are held to the grading standards of that specific company. Please see the individual grading company's websites for more information on their grading specifications.
YOUR INFORMATION IS SAFE:The business takes every precaution to protect your privacy and uses industry standard SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) encryption technology. We use third party secure payment gateways to process credit cards. The Credit Card information is not stored by us. Therefore, your credit card information, including type, number, and CCV security code is never seen by our employees. Once a customer enters their credit card information on our website or a customer service representative enters the information into our order software, the information is sent to our merchant services.
Domestic Orders: We accept Credit Cards, Postal Money Orders, Checks, Bank Wires and PayPal as payment for domestic orders. We accept MasterCard, Visa, Discover and debit cards. If you choose to pay by credit card your credit card will be charged at the time you place your order.
PayPal is also an accepted form of payment. When you select this option at checkout you will be brought to the PayPal login screen and will use your PayPal account information to login and complete the transaction.
All U.S. personal, business, or bank checks and U.S. Money Orders are accepted as payment and must be mailed within 48 business hours of the order being placed. If payment is not received within 7 days of placing your order, your order will be cancelled. Checks and money orders will be allowed to clear a minimum of ten business days before shipment.
Fraud, especially by credit card, is a major concern for both retailers and consumers. We take all precautions, including the use of fraud detection software; to be sure credit cards are being used legitimately.
PROCESSING, SHIPPING, AND DELIVERY:
Orders are not pulled from our systems until the next business day. Please keep this in mind when placing orders on Fridays as the order will not be given to the processing department until Monday (or Tuesday if Monday is a holiday).
Most orders for in stock items are in processing for 2-4 business days after receipt of the order. Business days are Monday through Friday excluding Holidays. Weekends are NOT considered business days. The Processing and Shipping Departments are open Monday - Friday.
Processing times may be longer during peak times such as Holidays, New Coin Release Periods, Significant Metal Market Activity, etc. Orders with special requests or with large quantities may also have longer processing times. Orders with possible security issues can often be delayed. If you have questions regarding processing times feel free to contact us.
An order confirmation number is not a guarantee of shipment. WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO CANCEL ANY ORDER FOR ANY REASON WITH A FULLY ISSUED REFUND.
Shipping and Delivery

Domestic Orders: Most orders are shipped via United States Postal Service First Class, Priority Mail, or Registered Mail. Our Postal shipping rates are very reasonable and vary depending on the total dollar amount of your order. If you do not receive your order, our office must be contacted in a timely manner as claims must be filed within 90 days of the shipment. If we are not contacted, we reserve the right to not honor the original order and will not reship the coins or credit the order amount. Orders can only be shipped to the billing address when paid via credit card. We do not generally ship to alternate addresses. We also do not ship to UPS Stores, Mailboxes Etc. or Virtual Offices. For security reasons, some packages may be sent "restricted delivery." With "restricted delivery" shipping, only the person who placed the order can sign for the delivery with a photo I.D. We reserve the right to ship your order via an alternate delivery company or service than you originally chose.
Custom shipping such as overnight and expedited delivery is available for many orders for an additional charge. Please contact a Customer Service Representative for more information or concerns regarding shipping your order.
RETURN AND EXCHANGE POLICY:
At Aiken Coin Shop, your satisfaction is our main goal. Non-bullion products that are not satisfactory may be returned within 7 days of receipt for equal exchange or a refund. Products returned including original government packaging must be returned in the same condition they were received. For example, Proof Sets sold as Unopened Proof Sets must be returned unopened. The Customer must contact our office and/or ship us the unsatisfactory product within 7 days of receipt. Postage paid on returned or exchanged products is non-refundable. Normal postage to Aiken Coin Shop for returned orders may be refundable in certain cases. This does not include Overnight or Expedited shipping. Ask a Customer Service Representative for details.
Due to Market fluctuations, bullion products (Gold, Silver, and Platinum coins) where the price is related to the spot metals market, can be returned for exchange/replacement only and will not be refunded. The Customer must contact our office within 7 days of receipt. Postage paid on exchanged bullion products is non-refundable. Normal postage to Aiken Coin Shop for replacement orders may be refundable in certain cases. This does not include Overnight or Expedited shipping. Ask a Customer Service Representative for details.
Non-bullion or non-special order items may be cancelled free of charge up until they are shipped. After the order has left our facility, our normal return policy will apply.
Aiken Coin Shop must be notified of cancellations via telephone. Cancellations will not be accepted via email or voice mail messages.
Bullion Orders (Gold, Silver, and Platinum Coins), Special Orders, and Pre-Orders can only be cancelled within two business hours after the order is placed.
A 10% cancellation fee OR the difference between the price at which the product(s) were sold to you and the current price(s), (whichever is greater), will be incurred on all bullion, special, or pre-orders that are not cancelled within two business hours after placement. If your bullion order (Gold, Silver, or Platinum Coins), pre-order, or special order has been shipped (regardless of when placed) it cannot be cancelled or returned for refund. If the package is refused, the same fees will still apply, and must be fulfilled before any future orders will be taken.
Prices on all products on our website are subject to change at any time. Prices are not locked in until you have checked out and received an order/invoice confirmation number. Customers will not be eligible for refunds/credits if the price of the product(s) they ordered has changed before their order has shipped.
Most, if not all, bullion products (Gold, Silver, and Platinum Coins) on our website are considered to be on "Real Time Pricing" where the price is related to the spot metals market. Prices may change on these products as quickly as every minute. Prices are not locked in until you checkout - even if the product is in your shopping cart or on your wish list.
Aiken Coin Shop strives for accuracy in its pricing. However, we are not responsible for typographical or programming errors related to pricing on our website, emails, or advertisements. Aiken Coin Shop has the right to cancel or refuse any orders placed for an item that is incorrectly priced.
RISK:We encourage all customers to understand the risk involved with purchasing coins and bullion products before making any purchases. By purchasing from Aiken Coin Shop you are accepting full responsibility for any risk involved in the fluctuation of value, pricing, or metals market associated with the products you have purchased from us.

We will only contact you via the email address and/or telephone number(s) you have provided regarding your order. You will receive "Status Update" emails in relation to your order as it goes from Processing to Shipping. Customers cannot opt out of receiving these emails. Please be sure to enter a valid telephone number and email address where you can easily be reached in case there is an issue with your order.
